Several hurt in I-95 crashes in Delray Beach, Miami
DELRAY BEACH, FL – Five people were hospitalized after two separate crashes on I-95 Sunday.
The first collision occurred around 4:30 a.m. south of the Linton Boulevard exit in Delray Beach, according to WSVN. The driver was pinned, and fire crews used a “jaws of life” method to remove the door and extricate the driver. The impact left him with serious injuries.
The second crash took place after 5:30 p.m. in the area of Northwest 95th Street on the northbound lanes in Miami. Approximately 12 people sustained injuries in this crash. Although four were hospitalized.
Traffic delays and lane closures lingered on I-95 due to the collision. However, all travel lanes have reopened since.
