Sideswipe auto wreck in Jacksonville claims life of man in his 70s
JACKSONVILLE, FL – A man in his 70s who operated a black Toyota had sideswiped another vehicle after experiencing a medical episode, leading him to suffer fatal wounds Monday.
This crash happened around 8:30 a.m. at the Herschel Street and San Juan Avenue junction. First Coast News said the impact caused the Toyota driver to collide with a tree.
The man in his 70s and the passenger with him were both transported to a hospital. The man in his 70s died there, and the passenger was being treated for non-life-threatening wounds.
