Sixteen Injured In Two-vehicle Crash In West Palm Beach
Sixteen people were recently injured in an overnight accident on Okeechobee Boulevard near Congress Avenue, sending several to area hospitals with traumatic injuries. Thankfully, no fatalities were reported but some may have a long road to recovery ahead of them.
The crash occurred around 1 am when a van carrying 14 passengers was cut off by a pickup truck making a u-turn. Investigators believe alcohol may have been a factor in the accident.
Eight of the crash victims were taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center. Five were transported to West Palm Hospital and three to Good Samaritan Hospital. All victims are reported to be in stable condition or have been released.
