Speeding driver causes Sunrise wreck that claims 4 lives
SUNRISE, FL – A driver operating a white car attempted to make a U-turn and was struck by a speeding motorist driving a black vehicle, killing three adults and one child on Sunday.
An eyewitness, an unidentified man, told the NBC Miami news team that the collision unfolded when the driver of the black automobile went around 100 mph, leading that car to swerve, causing them to hit the driver pursuing the U-turn.
The impact led the black car to go against the curb before coming to rest in a grassy area and catching fire. That driver was hospitalized for head lacerations, while the four individuals from the white car succumbed to fatal wounds.
