SUV collides with tree in Cape Coral, sending driver to hospital

CAPE CORAL, FL – A driver of a gray SUV had to go to the hospital after slamming into a tree off Country Club Boulevard Friday morning, NBC-2 reports. 

The impact of this incident caused a mailbox and a sign to tumble over, and made for a lengthy clean-up process as crews worked to clear debris from the crash. 

Fire crews did not specify the driver’s current condition or reveal the events that led to this crash.
