SUV overturns in Lehigh Acres, sending 1 to hospital

LEHIGH ACRES, FL – One person had to be taken to a nearby hospital after their gray SUV overturned and crashed at Florida 82 and Alabama Road South Tuesday.

NBC-2 said this solo crash happened in the afternoon and prompted Lehigh Acres Fire Department fire crews and other first responders to shut down several lanes for the standard scene clearance process and has reopened the area since.

Emergency personnel did not say if the hospitalized person was the driver or passenger or stated the events that led to this wreck.
