SUV tire mishap ends in semi rollover wreck in St. Augustine
ST. AUGUSTINE, FL – A 68-year-old man driving an SUV struck a semi-truck, which led it to overturn, after he tried to pull over onto the I-95 South shoulder due to a tire dilemma.
This collision took place around 6:30 p.m. Thursday north of County Road 210 when the 68-year-old man was trying to merge from left to right and went into the path of the semi, prompting the SUV to strike the semi’s left front and the truck to roll over and land on its right side, News4Jax reports.
Florida Highway Patrol said the SUV and semi-driver, a 39-year-old man, were both unharmed.
