Teen cyclist hospitalized after crash with school bus in North Naples
NORTH NAPLES, FL – A 15-year-old girl riding a bicycle was sent to a hospital after she was hit by a school bus before 7 a.m. Tuesday.
NBC-2 said this collision took place at the Livingston Road and Veterans Memorial Boulevard junction. First responders transported her via a Medflight helicopter to Gulf Coast Hospital for serious wounds.
Officials said she was listed in stable condition. No students were on the school bus at the time of the crash.
Florida Highway Patrol has not confirmed if speed, distracted driving, intoxication, or other factors contributed to the crash.
