Teen in critical condition after hit-and-run in Cedar Hills Estates
JACKSONVILLE, FL – A teenager was left in critical condition after getting struck by a driver who fled the scene in Cedar Hills Estates Monday.
The teenager was run over while crossing the Blanding Boulevard and Confederate Point Road intersection, News4Jax revealed.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said the driver had stopped at a parking lot down the road from the collision site to inspect for damages before continuing to drive away.
JSO believes the hit-and-run suspect is a black woman. At the time of the crash, she was wearing a long-sleeved white T-shirt, either white or light-colored leggings, and some white open-toed shoes. She had her hair up in a high bun. Deputies said she was driving a vehicle that appeared to be a white Toyota Yaris.
Anyone with more information about this crash and the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to contact JSO immediately.
