Teen scooter rider hospitalized after crash in Clearwater
CLEARWATER, FL – A 16-year-old boy who rode a scooter was sent to the hospital for serious injuries after he was hit by a car near Jack Russell Stadium Monday.
ABC Action News said this collision happened after 5:30 p.m. at the Seminole Street and Pennsylvania Avenue junction.
Emergency responders took the teenager to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg for treatment.
The Chevrolet Equinox motorist was unharmed. It is unclear if the driver will be cited or charged or who had the right of way.
