Teen scooter rider seriously injured in hit-and-run in Orlando
ORLANDO, FL – A 16-year-old girl was taken to AdventHealth Waterford Lakes ER for serious wounds after getting hit by a driver who fled the scene Tuesday.
This crash happened around 6:30 a.m. at the Guy Road and Bearle Road intersection, Orlando-News reported. The scooter rider and hit-and-run suspect were both traveling north when the collision happened.
Florida Highway Patrol stated that preliminary details showed that the driver, who had not been found and apprehended, failed to notice the teenager on the scooter.
