Tesla driver runs red light, causes crash with fire truck in Tampa
TAMPA, FL – A driver of a red Tesla was said to have run a red light, leading to a T-bone collision with a fire truck that significantly damaged the car’s front bumper Wednesday.
Tampa Police and fire crews had arrived at the scene before 4:30 p.m., as indicated in an X post from The Auto Wire. Fire crews did not confirm if the Tesla driver was entrapped or pinned and required extrication.
The collision appeared to happen downtown. However, the exact location was not disclosed.
