ST. PETERSBURG, FL – A 33-year-old woman drove intoxicated, which caused her to hit a tree, which then ejected the toddler with her, who suffered serious injuries Friday.
St. Petersburg Police told WTSP that this solo collision happened around 11:30 p.m. on southbound Dr. MLK Jr. Street South. Officers said the driver, identified as Krista Carver, had veered into the opposite lanes of traffic prior to hitting the tree.
