Train fatally hits pedestrian in Seffner

SEFFNER, FL – A pedestrian died after getting hit by a train on the railroad tracks along South Parsons Avenue, near Claire Drive Thursday, WTSP said.

Hillsborough County officials were made aware of this incident this afternoon and have shut down the north and southbound directions at this time. In addition, they have not released the name, age, gender, and identity of the deceased person or revealed what exactly led to this crash.

This is an ongoing investigation.
