Two hurt in car-pedestrian crash along University of Miami
MIAMI, FL – Two young women were hurt after they were struck by two vehicles along the University of Miami Thursday.
The collision occurred around 9:15 p.m. at San Amaro Drive and Albenga Avenue, The Miami Hurricane reported.
A driver made a left turn from Albenga Avenue and collided with an orange Dodge Charger, and in the process, the two women were crossing the street and were hit by both vehicles.
All of the people involved were U of M students; the Dodge driver was Donald Chaney Jr, a running back for the Miami Hurricanes. The two women were taken to a hospital for their injuries; the drivers were unharmed.
