Two hurt in wrong-way crash in Clearwater
CLEARWATER, FL – Two people were hospitalized following a wrong-way collision around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The crash happened when a driver was heading north on U.S. 19, then, for reasons unclear, drifted into the southbound lanes, FOX 13 News reported. The driver of that car then collided with another vehicle.
Another vehicle was involved. However, it is unclear if the driver of this car was hurt. The two drivers from the other automobiles were sent to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg for non-life-threatening injuries.
