Two-vehicle Orange Co. crash leaves one dead, another hurt
ORANGE COUNTY, FL – One was hospitalized, and another life was claimed in a two-vehicle crash before 12:30 a.m. Friday.
The collision occurred at SR 520 and SR 528 near Wedgefield, according to Click Orlando.
A westbound green Toyota Yaris was traveling on SR 520 when the driver cut off an eastbound Nissan Murano. As a result, the Nissan hit the Yaris on the right side.
Both drivers were belted.
The driver of the Murano, a 46-year-old man, was hospitalized at Orlando Health for non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Yaris, the 63-year-old man, was taken to Waterford Lakes Hospital, where he succumbed to fatal injuries.
Details are under investigation.
