Update: FHP locates truck involved in fatal Immokalee hit-and-run
IMMOKALEE, FL – Florida Highway Patrol found a white Chevrolet pickup truck on Wednesday night that was said to have fatally struck a 64-year-old man riding a bicycle Sunday.
Troopers told NBC-2 that they found the suspect’s vehicle under a tarp in Hendry County. While the truck was found, FHP has yet to locate the suspect themself.
To recap, this collision took place on Oil Well Road, south of the Ave Maria community and east of State Road 29.
The cyclist, whose identity was not released, died at a hospital.
