Update: Woman liable for Lee Co. ATV hit-and-run crash gets arrested
LEE COUNTY, FL – The 33-year-old woman who was responsible for striking an ATV rider and then fleeing the scene and for another hit-and-run crash has been found and arrested.
The woman – Amber Tremblay – had been suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs when she hit the ATV rider along Harvest Avenue on Sunday, July 23rd, NBC-2 reported.
On Sunday, she had worn a bright pink bikini and had reached for something inside her black Dodge Charger before fleeing the scene of the ATV crash.
The other hit-and-run incident involved Tremblay trying to go inside a taco truck, and resulted in her getting kicked out.
Florida Highway Patrol found Tremblay while conducting a traffic stop on Buckingham Road on Tuesday, July 25th. She was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail. She faces three counts of a hit-and-run and five counts of a moving traffic violation. Her bond was set at $84,000.
There has been no official word on the condition of the ATV rider, who was only identified as a 27-year-old man who goes by his nickname “Bambino.”
