Why You Should Stay Calm in Traffic
No one likes being stuck in traffic and we have all gotten a little frustrated or angry when we found ourselves stuck at a slow speed or totally stopped on a road, especially when we had somewhere to be. However, this kind of frustration recently led to tragic results as illustrated in a recent news article.
The Orlando Sentinel has reported that a 66-year-old DeBary woman was killed on a weekday morning after a pickup driver swerved around traffic and hit her car on State Road 417. The woman’s Chevrolet Spark flipped several times, the force of which caused her to be ejected from the vehicle. The 33-year-old pickup driver, an Altamonte Springs resident, reportedly caused the accident when he swerved into the right lane after traffic started to slow. He is now facing criminal charges because, sadly, the woman was pronounced dead shortly after taken to the emergency room.
