Woman, 18, killed in crash with tree in Jacksonville
JACKSONVILLE, FL – An 18-year-old woman died after she crashed her sedan into a tree off the I-295 Service Road ramp leading to Collins Road Saturday.
This collision took place before 2:30 a.m., according to First Coast News. As the woman was approaching the right curve on the ramp, she had, for reasons unclear, gone “straight onto the median.” The impact had also led her vehicle to overturn into a pond and was nearly submerged in water.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
