Woman, 47, dead after fiery crash in Tampa
TAMPA, FL – A fiery crash involving a semi-truck and a car claimed a woman’s life Tuesday, ABC Actions News reported.
The collision occurred before 3:45 a.m. at Hillsborough Avenue and Orient Road. The westbound car entered the path of an eastbound semi-truck.
The impact made the sedan catch fire. The driver of the semi-truck, a 48-year-old man, was unharmed.
The driver of a car, a 47-year-old woman, was inside the vehicle and able to get out thanks to aid from eyewitnesses, who pulled her out.
The woman was taken to a hospital where she succumbed to fatal injuries.
