Woman, 47, dead after semi-truck vs. sedan crash in Tampa

TAMPA, FL – A left-turn crash between a sedan and a semi-truck claimed a woman’s life on Tuesday.

The collision happened on westbound E Hillsborough Avenue when a driver of a sedan made a left turn and crashed into a semi-truck, FOX 13 News revealed.

The sedan caught fire, and eyewitnesses tried to rescue the driver, a 47-year-old woman.

Emergency crews were able to extricate the woman, and she was taken to a hospital, where she later died.
