Woman, 64, hospitalized after hit-and-run crash in Miami
MIAMI, FL – A pedestrian was hospitalized after she was hit by a car around 6 a.m. Wednesday, Local 10 reported.
The collision happened in the area of Northwest 17th Avenue and Northwest 60th Street as a woman was walking and was struck by a blue Toyota.
The driver of the blue Toyota did not render aid or call 911 and immediately fled the scene.
The pedestrian, 64-year-old Initha Lipscomb, appears to have sustained possible leg and hip injuries. She was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center and is in stable condition.
