Woman dead, man hurt after watercraft crash near Pace Picnic Island

MIAMI, FL – A 26-year-old woman lost her life, and a 28-year-old man suffered a serious leg injury after their watercraft crashed after 6 p.m. Sunday near Pace Picnic Island.

The woman — Renisha Smith of West Palm Beach — and the man — Martez Bell from Tennessee — were sent to a local hospital, where Smith succumbed to fatal wounds, according to Local 10.
