Woman found dead in submerged car in Pasco Co.
PASCO COUNTY, FL – A woman who was reported missing succumbed to fatal wounds when her Toyota Corolla submerged inside a body of water.
The woman, identified as 80-year-old Moira Bossard, was found dead on Sunday, ABC Action News reports. She was seen walking into a Hurricane Milton shelter at the Challenger K-8 school on Elgin Boulevard in Spring Hill., but there were no records of her checking in. Neighbors also told law enforcement that Bossard appeared confused and claimed she was going to drive to Tennessee to visit family prior to officials finding her.
The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office said they did not issue a silver alert because Bossard had no signs of any cognitive impairment.
Officials did not say if Bossard lost her life in a crash or found herself trapped in her car due to the flooding left by Hurricane Milton.
