Woman hurt in Jacksonville house fire; 8 displaced
JACKSONVILLE, FL – A woman was hospitalized after a Jacksonville fire on West 15th Street Monday morning.
Fire crews arrived at the scene after 4:45 a.m., according to First Coast News. First responders said the fire started under a carport between a home and a suite in the backyard, although the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
The family of eight was displaced, and one woman was sent to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
