Women in their 60s hurt in 7-vehicle crash in Lee County
LEE COUNTY, FL – A chain reaction crash involving seven vehicles on I-75 injured two women, aged 61 and 63, Thursday afternoon, NBC-2 reported.
The collision happened around 4 p.m. when a driver of a sedan swerved to the left and sideswiped another vehicle. This prompted the sideswiped automobile to then four other automobiles.
Another driver also struck one of the vehicles involved in this crash.
Medics transported the injured women to Gulf Coast Hospital. Their conditions are unknown.
Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the details of this collision and has not released more information.
