Workers Compensation Team

Our Workers Compensation team had a very successful trial win and gained justice for our client who was injured at work. Our client suffered a terrible head injury when he fell off a scaffolding at a construction site. After the accident, his employer fired him and refused to pay for any of his medical treatment, over $300,000 in hospital bills. Further, they tried to pay him off with a shamefully low amount in an attempt to make him go away. When a victim such as this one is undocumented, corporations and insurance companies use this fact to just “throw him away.”

At first our client hired a well known, competing law firm to protect his rights, however they decided his claim was meritless and eventually disposed of his case! Luckily he found The Pendas Law Firm and we fought aggressively to bring some sort of justice for this man. It required of us multiple petitions, several fruitless mediations with over 100 hours, and a two-day trial to obtain a compensation order.

As always, The Pendas Law Firm succeeds in the toughest of cases such as this one, due to our aggressive approach and diligence to see our clients receive justice. We know how to achieve success for those injured in the workplace. It’s important to remember we represent clients in dark times. It takes courage to jump into the darkness with these clients, but we must. We keep this light in our hearts along with a fighting mindset. We win for our clients!

  • I can't express how much I appreciate this law firm. I had the honor to deal with attorney Daniel. He kept me updated on my case. I couldn't ask for a better law firm...
